Do not forget to check on your elderly and disabled neighbors during the cold winter weather! I have seen Facebook posts and have heard stories of furnaces going out or water pipes freezing during these frigid temperatures. This could be deadly for someone who is elderly or disabled and lives alone. If you are concerned about someone during these cold temperatures, report their information to the Adult Abuse Hotline by calling 1-800-392-0210 or call your local police station.
Check out the below Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services site for information on the warning signs of hypothermia.
Check out the below CDC site for more information on preparing for winter weather and staying safe.
Stay safe and warm!
January 2, 2018 – 2017 Recap
It is the end of my first year in office, and I am very excited to announce that we have made some big changes that have increased the efficiency of the office and brought it into the 21st century. Anything and everything that we could examine and find a better way of doing was changed!
Reducing Case Load: Currently, we are closing cases faster than we are getting appointed on new cases by the court.
